Nonnie Came to Visit

Nonnie came to visit this past weekend, and we all had so much fun. Asher (and Mommy and Daddy) had his first babysitting experience and everything went perfectly. Plus, Mommy didn't flip out and handled being away from Asher pretty well. Asher and Nonnie loved playing together and reading books! Asher says, "My Nonnie is wonderful."

While Nonnie was here, Asher decided that he was ready to stand by himself a whole bunch - especially when his mommy wasn't looking. He also said "Bow-wow" for the first time, and then three more times. The first two times he was looking at a book by himself, turned to a page with dogs on it, and said "bow-wow!" However, the next couple of times he was looking at pictures of a cow and a pig!
